Important: Patient Responsibility & Liability

While we assist with direct billing for AXA Health, the ultimate responsibility for payment rests with you, the patient.

Registration Form Requirement: To enable direct billing, you must complete our online registration form before your first session. This provides us with your essential insurance details and legal consent. If the form is not completed, we cannot bill AXA, and you will be required to pay the full private rate at the time of your appointment.
Pre-Authorisation: You must ensure your treatment is authorised before your session. If AXA refuses payment (due to an inactive policy, reached session limits, or lack of referral), you will be liable for the full cost at our standard rates.
Policy Excess: Any “excess” or “cost-share” amounts on your AXA policy must be settled by you directly at the clinic.
Cancellations: AXA does not cover late cancellation fees. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend, you will be personally liable for the full appointment fee.
