The Treatment Process
- Debridement: Your podiatrist gently removes any overlying hard skin to expose the viral lesion.
- Precision Application: Using a fine capillary tube, the Verrutop solution is applied directly to the verruca. You will notice the area turn a white/yellowish colour—this is the mummification process beginning.
- Follow-up: Treatments are typically spaced 2 weeks apart. Between visits, you simply apply surgical spirit to the area to keep it dry.
