WPA Recognised Chiropractor, Osteopath & Physio | London Pay & Reclaim

Expert MSK healthcare at our Canada Water and Stratford clinics. We provide the specialist invoicing required to reclaim your treatment costs from WPA Healthcare.

Using Your WPA Insurance at Bodytonic Clinic

Bodytonic Clinic operates on a Self-Pay basis. Patients settle their account at the time of their appointment and then submit their receipt to WPA for reimbursement.

To facilitate your claim, we provide a Specialist Insurance Receipt via email immediately after your treatment. This document includes all the mandatory information WPA requires to process a reclaim:

  • Practitioner Name & Clinical Qualification
  • Professional Registration Numbers (GOsC for Osteopathy, GCC for Chiropractic, or HCPC for Physiotherapy)
  • Clinic Address & Contact Details
  • Detailing Treatment Description & Cost

Expert-Led Care & Clinical Standards

To satisfy the high clinical standards required by WPA Healthcare, all treatments at bodytonic clinic are performed by practitioners registered with their respective UK governing bodies:

  • Osteopaths: Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
  • Physiotherapists: Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Chiropractors: Registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

This professional oversight ensures you receive safe, evidence-based care that is eligible for insurance reimbursement.

Important: Your Responsibility to Verify Cover

Before booking your appointment, it is your responsibility as the policyholder to ensure that your specific WPA plan covers your chosen treatment at our clinic.

WPA offers a vast range of policies with different levels of cover. To avoid any disappointment or declined claims, we strongly advise you to check the following with WPA directly:

  • Policy Eligibility: Does your plan include Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, or Chiropractic?
  • Authorisation: Do you have a valid Pre-authorisation Code or have you notified WPA of this course of treatment?
  • GP Referral: Does your specific policy require a GP referral before you see a specialist?
  • Financial Limits: Are there annual limits, “per-session” caps, or an Annual Excess that you must pay yourself?

Bodytonic Clinic provides the documentation to support your claim, but we cannot guarantee reimbursement and are not responsible for claims declined by your insurer.

3 Steps to Managing Your WPA Claim

  1. Verify Your Benefits: Call WPA or log into the WPA Health App to confirm your outpatient cover and obtain any necessary authorisation.
  2. Attend & Settle: Book your session in SE16 or E20. All sessions are paid for at the clinic via card or contactless.
  3. Submit Your Receipt: Upload the digital receipt we provide to the WPA member portal or app to initiate your reclaim.

Frequently Asked Questions

This depends entirely on your personal policy. While we provide the necessary receipts, WPA may deduct your annual excess or apply a “per-session” cap. Please check your Table of Benefits before your visit.

Many WPA plans offer “Direct Access” for MSK conditions, but some corporate or older policies still require a GP referral. Check your WPA app for your specific requirements.
