Using Your Health-on-Line Insurance at Bodytonic Clinic

Bodytonic Clinic operates on a Self-Pay basis for Health-on-Line members. Although Health-on-Line is now part of the AXA Health group, their administrative process for legacy policies often requires a Pay & Reclaim model. You settle your account at the time of your appointment and then submit your receipt to Health-on-Line for reimbursement.

To facilitate your claim, we provide a Specialist Insurance Receipt via email immediately after your treatment. This document includes all the mandatory information required to process a reclaim:

To satisfy the high clinical standards required by Health-on-Line and AXA Health, all treatments at bodytonic clinic are performed by practitioners registered with their respective UK governing bodies:

Osteopaths: Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
Physiotherapists: Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Chiropractors: Registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

Before booking your appointment, it is your responsibility as the policyholder to ensure that your specific Health-on-Line plan covers your chosen treatment at our clinic.

As Health-on-Line policies transition to AXA Health, we strongly advise you to check the following:

Policy Eligibility: Does your plan include Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, or Chiropractic?
Authorisation: Do you have a valid Pre-authorisation Code? You must contact Health-on-Line/AXA before your first session.
GP Referral: Does your specific policy require a GP referral or a “Fast Track” MSK triage before you see a specialist?
Financial Limits: Are there annual limits, “per-session” caps, or an Annual Excess that you must pay yourself?

3 Steps to Managing Your Health-on-Line Claim

Verify Your Benefits: Call Health-on-Line (or AXA Health) to confirm your outpatient cover and obtain a claim/authorisation number.
Attend & Settle: Book your session in SE16 or E20. All sessions are paid for at the clinic via card or contactless at the end of your appointment.
Submit Your Receipt: Upload the digital receipt we provide to your member portal or email it to the claims team to initiate your reclaim.

Do I need a GP referral?

Many Health-on-Line plans require a GP referral or an internal triage call to trigger cover. Please verify this with your insurer to ensure your claim is not rejected.
