“Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves comes when life seems most challenging”
Joseph Campbell

Being in the modern world places many demands upon us to be everything to everyone, with very little time for ourselves.

Often what gets pushed aside is our desires, our passions, our rights to feel and express our true emotions. We often compromise our relationships and friendships – but most importantly, ourselves. We become even more disconnected from our body and emotions, leaving us with feelings of emptiness or dissatisfaction.

At times like these, it’s helpful to talk to therapist. Someone who can offer you safe and confidential space where you can discuss your problem; someone who can help you to explore what is troubling you and find ways to discover and enhance your life.

I trained as a psychosynthesis therapist because I believe we are more than just our symptoms and problems; that our worries and issues, no matter how difficult, painful or ‘stuck’ they may be, hold within them the opportunity for creative growth and change.

I passionately believe that therapy can make many positive changes in our daily lives, our perspective of the world, and our personal and professional relationships.

Qualifications
I am a qualified therapist, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and Therapy. This was awarded by the University of East London and was accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am a member of the BACP, and work in the strictest confidence, and in accordance with their ethics.

Experience

  • Running my private practice at Counselling & Psychotherapy, Pimlico and Canada Water, London SE16 2XU
  • Counsellor at Wandsworth Association of Therapists, Balham, London
  • Honorary Counsellor at NHS South East London

Professional interests
Self esteem issues, anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, stress alleviation, carer or life choices, relationships, family dynamics, cultural differences and identity, questions of meaning and spirituality.

On a more personal level, I am a warm and approachable person who finds it easy to engage with people from all backgrounds. I have experience of living and working in a variety of cultures and am multilingual.

This has given me a sense for detecting subtle signals in people that show the effect on them of the challenges of life in London, the world’s most cosmopolitan and complex city.
