John Inman MOst Dist BA (Hons) is a fully qualified Osteopath, Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage therapist.
John graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, achieving a Master’s degree with Distinction. Upon graduation, John was also awarded the Silver Medal for best overall academic performance in his year group.
Using a holistic and patient centred Osteopathic approach, John aims to gain a full understanding of an individual’s problem and work with them to get them out of pain and back to optimal health, using both hands on techniques (soft tissue massage, stretching, joint articulation and manipulation) as well as tailored exercises and advice.
John has an interest in research, and keeps up to date with the latest techniques and exercises. He is currently working towards publishing his dissertation in a peer-reviewed journal. He also has an interest in classical Osteopathic skills, having undertaken a course in Still technique.
Outside of Osteopathy, John is a keen sportsman who enjoys cycling (both road and off road), running, bouldering and football. Before training to be an Osteopath, John gained a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Sheffield. He has also worked as a mountain bike instructor in the world renowned Whistler bike park in British Columbia, and as a mountain bike journalist, travelling to Canada, Europe and New Zealand.
