Esther is a highly skilled and passionate chartered musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Originally from Hong Kong, Esther moved to London to study; graduating with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of East London. Esther is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Esther has both hospital and community based clinical experience. She is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).
Throughout her career, Esther has worked in a variety of settings within the NHS. Esther was able to work in a variety of clinics and wards during her one-year rotation, including a CVID ward, a paediatric inpatient clinic, a paediatric musculoskeletal clinic, a respiratory unit, a hyperacute stroke unit, a trauma and orthopaedics clinic, and a musculoskeletal outpatient clinic for adults. As Esther neared the end of her rotation year, she decided to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She worked in NHS hospitals in Central and North London. Through this experience, she was able to consolidate both her clinical skills and her ability to deliver prompt and accurate assessment of patients. She is able to offer exemplary treatment determined by sound clinical reasoning.
Esther has treated patients with many different chronic conditions, including (but not limited to); lower back pain, neck pain, scoliosis, sciatica, nerve related pain, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, bursitis, frozen shoulders, ankle instability, postural deficit, and muscle imbalance. Additionally, she has experience treating acute traumatic injuries, such as ACL ruptures, meniscal tears, fracture rehabilitation, muscle tears, ligament sprains, and rotator cuff and scapular injuries.
