Bethany is a registered Osteopath with keen interests in general postural and work related aches and strains. Bethany’s journey to osteopathy started when she began working on reception at an osteopathic practice in her home town in Yorkshire. She could see first hand the positive benefits osteopathy was having to the people of the local community and really wanted to learn more about osteopathy.

Bethany was awarded as Highly Commended in the iO (Institute of Osteopathy) for Associate of the Year in 2021. Bethany graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, achieving a Master’s degree in Osteopathy and a diploma in Naturopathy*. During Bethany’s training and career she has gained experience in treating a wide range of patients, from sports injuries to general aches and pains related to the modern lifestyle. Bethany has developed a structural approach to Osteopathy and uses a broad range of gentle yet effective techniques including, soft tissue massage, articulations and spinal manipulation (where necessary).

She compliments her treatment with dietary, ergonomic and exercise advice and is a firm believer that movement is the key to recovery. Her treatments are guided towards resolving the deeper underlying cause, tailoring each treatment to the specific needs of the patient. Bethany has further trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and offers Clinical Pilates (121 Pilates) and ante/post natal Pilates. She finds clinical pilates to be advantageous to her patients recovery and for those seeking to increase muscle strength, postural awareness and overall flexibility.

Clinical Pilates incorporates the traditional pilates exercises along with modern research into musculoskeletal dysfunction. This allows the pilates sessions and exercises to be specifically tailored to the patient’s individual condition and goals.

Bethany ensures that her osteopathic treatments and Clinical Pilates sessions are a collaborative experience. She works together with her patients to create goals specific to her patients desired outcomes. She finds that this allows for the best possible recovery rates for her patients.

She has further qualifications in Medical AcupunctureSports MassageDeep Tissue Massage and Pregnancy Massage and uses these to further compliment her treatment.
